The primary duty of our Shift Supervisor will be to ensure that Biggies runs smoothly, efficiently and according to our standards while also filling a position within the staff (register/order taker, sandwich maker, prep and/or grill person). Training in all positions will be provided. They will lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with all team members to make sure they are doing things properly and efficiently. They are responsible for organization and preparation, cleanliness and general problem-solving while on duty.
• Effectively lead the restaurant while owners are not present
• Lead each shift by delegating duties, assigning tasks, and following up with all team members
• Ensure all food items are prepared according to our standards of quality, consistency, and timeliness
• Ensure customers are served quickly
• Provide breaks to employees and ensure that positions are covered
• Must be proficient in each area of the restaurant
• Follow inventory control and rotation procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant
• Follow proper sanitation and safety procedures
• Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Manage time effectively and meet all job responsibilities
• Minimum Age: 18 years •
• Previous Experience: Preferred
• Must have reliable transportation
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Must be able to take direction and delegate responsibilities
• Able to work in a fast paced environment
• Able to work nights (to 8pm) and weekends
